Publications

We are planning two sets of publications from this conference.

• A collaborative book. This is to be more than the usual commemorative collection of essays. All contributors to it will be asked to revise and rework their work so that it addresses the work of at least two other contributors to the book. In this way, we aim to produce something that is much more tightly structured than a collection of essays—a genuinely collaborative piece of work.
   
  Our two plenary speakers have already promised us their papers as a seed for this book. We are at present working with both of them to develop a common focus, which we shall announce on these pages in the near future, as the broad theme for the book.
   
• A special issue of a journal. This will have a broader focus than the book, and be open to a wide variety of approaches and issues. Details to follow.
