I will be giving a whirl wind tour through photographs and texts focusing on Indigenous Australians, especially those whose tribal lands are located on the beach. Too often researchers render Murris and Islanders as invisible, especially with regards to the Australian beach. When I close my eyes and listen, I see an alternative view to "white" women and "white" men sun baking and surfing. I will be utilizing images from my personal collection.
