Michael Taussig

Cultural anthropologist, author of, among other works, Shamanism, Coloniality and the Wild Man (Chicago UP 1987) Mimesis and Alterity (Routledge 1993) and Defacement (Stanford UP 1999). Michael Taussig is in Australia as a joint intitiative of the On The Beach conference and the Transforming Cultures Group, UTS.
