Rydges South Bank Hotel has been appointed the official conference hotel, both for accommodation and for the On The Beach cocktail party.

Rydges is offering a discounted rate of $120/night for a Standard Room and $140/night for a Superior Room. Twin rooms are also available for $140/night. Full buffet breakfast is an additional $16. All prices are inclusive of GST.

Rydges is located at the heart of Southbank Parklands, a riverside restaurant and recreation district in the city of Brisbane. It is a ten-minute ferry-ride to The University of Queensland and a short walk from the middle of the CBD. As these rates are in combination with the Television: Past, Present and Futures conference, you must quote "The Centre for Critical and Cultural Studies" when making a reservation. Alternative Accommodation

Alternative accommodation is available at Benson Court Motel at Toowong for $64/night. Benson Court is located near the Toowong Railway Station.
