Handbook entry for this course.
This course is part of the Communication and Cultural Studies, English and Media Studies majors.

Convenor: Dr Fiona Nicoll

CCST2220 is designed for students who wish to develop their background in cultural studies. It is not an introductory course so it does assume that the student has already completed some courses in the Communications and Cultural Studies stream, ideally CCST1000 and CCST2200. CCST2220 is an essential course for those who wish to go on to Honours or further study in cultural studies, communications studies, or media studies. The course covers the major theoretical concepts underlying cultural studies practice in Britain and Australia, focussing in particular on popular culture texts and their audiences.

Feedback

We'd like to know how you find this course, and this site. Is the website helpful? Is it more useful than print handouts alone? What do you like most about it? What do you like least about it? Is it clearly organised, letting you find what you want? What else could it include? What else should we be asking? Your feedback would be greatly valued.
