Although there is very little reading required outside the set texts,
there is a heavy reading load in the first half of the course. Students
will be required to read the set texts and so they should attempt to
start reading them as early in the semester as possible. The
mid-semester exam will test detailed knowledge of the material in the

HOW
TO ACCESS THE ONLINE READINGS The
online readings for CCST2220 not only save you the cost of a course
reader, they also offer flexible access to the course materials from the
library, your home, your workplace or even an internet cafe while on
holidays! It is important to
note that the online readings are a compulsory part of this subject and
your familiarity with them will be tested in week seven.
Tutorials in weeks 2 to 6 will be dedicated to discussing and
clarifying these online readings in conjunction with the relevant
chapters of British Cultural Studies.
The
list of instructions below explains how to access the readings we have
scanned for 2220. Other
courses have scanned readings that may be relevant to your research
project. These can be
accessed directly through the library catalogue where they will be listed
