The Australian Journal of Communication is a refereed international journal that publishes original papers on human communication research, theory and practice. The journal has been in continuous publication since 1975 and has been edited by Dr Roslyn Petelin since 1988.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Volume 38, issues 2 and 3 of the journal in 2011 will be theme issues that will be guest edited, as will the first two issues in 2012.
- Bridget Griffen-Foley and Murray Goot of Macquarie University will guest-edit a special issue on Tabloid Journalism 38(2).
- Martin Hirst and Wayne Hope of Auckland University of Technology will guest-edit 38(3), which will feature papers presented at their conference, The Political Economy of Communication, to be held in Auckland 15-16 September 2011.
- In 2012, Dugald Williamson of the University of New England and Peter Horsfield of RMIT University will each edit a special theme issue.
